You are requested to attend a Zoom meeting of the Project and Amenities Committee of Mountsorrel Parish Council on Monday 20th September 2021 at 7pm in the Richardson Room at the Memorial Centre. Members of the public are requested to attend via the Zoom link below to help with social distancing.

  5. Update at the meeting from Parish Manager on Halstead Rd/Cufflins Park development,

    Halstead Road Car Park/Toilets, Loughborough Rd Bin/Picnic Bench, Peace Garden painting

    and Tree Planting by TWG, War Memorial & Beacon, Government Welcome Back Fund.

  6. Report of Dog Warden and Cemetery Gardener. (Appendix 1)
  7. Tree condition survey: Recommendation: To receive the tree survey reports and agree to

    commission work on the trees as recommended. (Appendix 2)

  8. Report on Xmas lights. Recommendation to delegate to the Parish Manager in

    consultation with the Chair, the approval of a contract for installing the Xmas lights and to request F&GP for an increase in the budget to replace lights that are not working, e.g. those on The Green. (Appendix 3)

  9. Consultation on Hedge cutting & vegetation removal. Recommendation to comment on and agree specification for a contract to undertake this work. (Appendix 4)

10. Report on Betty Hensers Horse Fair. Recommendation to consider suggestions for further improving the management of the Horse Fair for next year. (Appendix 5)
